Below are the results of the free agent signing period for December 4th, 2009:
Martin Skoula signed with Storm for $575,000 for 3 year(s) with $0 in bonus.
Andy Greene signed with Storm for $750,000 for 4 year(s) with $0 in bonus.
Patrick Marleau signed with Supastas for $6,300,000 for 1 year(s) with $0 in bonus.
Next Free Agent signing deadline will be January 8th, 2010. Note: for this first BFHL season, the free agents will be signed with a MINIMUM of whatever their current 09/10 NHL contract is (max 4 years). We might open things up a bit next year depending how we work all the logistics out.
Prospect Draft News
Next up January 9th, 2010 will be the beginning of the Propsect Draft. Hopefully it won't be as painful as the first draft! Though there's not as much pressure to get the draft done this time around. These guys will show up in your prospects list, and you can trade them or what not. The draft order will be in reverse of what we used at our first draft.
It will be a forum draft again. There will be a 12 hr limit between picks. If the GM before you hasn't picked after 12 hours, feel free to make your pick and move the draft along. That GM can catch up his picks the next their turn comes around. While there's not so much pressure to finish this draft, I don't want it to continue for months and months. We are looking to hit 10 rounds and there are a lot of quality prospects out there! Check out this available Prospect Draft List Link.
