Storm lift the Newcombe-Todd Cup for the 3rd straight year and the 4th time in 6 years after winning a hard fought series against Bullies 4 games to 1.

Storm looked like a team in transition.  Despite a strong regular season, Storm made a series of movements to provide the team with more depth and flexibility going forward.

Repeat.... Storm Win The BFHL Cup

After a long and grueling sesason, Storm was able to drink from BFHL Cup again.  This marked Storm's 4th visit to the finals in 5 years and 3rd championship.

It was an especially challenging year for Storm management.  Storm made some very tough decisions with the cap dropping from 70.2mn to 64.3mn.  Among the players that moved on after the 2012 - 2013 season were Unrestricted Free Agents:  Andy Greene, Alex Steen, Mike Richards and Travis Zajac.

Storm Offseason

The Storm has been very active this offseason.  Having lost to Nokians in the hard fought final, the Storm made several bold moves.  It all started with a blockbuster trade involving franchise goalie Cam Ward.  Ward had backstopped the Storm to the BFHL championship in 2009-2010.  With the development of Cory Schneider, Ward became expendable and was moved for the 20th overall pick in this year's enter draft and skilled centre Nazem Kadri.
