After a tough Round 2 series, the Bombers advance to the next round and is expecting to play either the Bullies or Nokians.

Nokians entered the year with a big question mark in goal. While it was fine for the first part of the season, the dual of Scrivens and Greiss never inspired a lot of confidence with the Nokians brass. Lingering bitter memories of Hiller not being able to win the closest of close games in the playoffs opened the door to let Hiller walk away; yet fond memories of the only championship with Henrik Lundqvist kept calling.

After reaching the semi-finals of BFHL playoffs for four consecutive years (and the finals in 2013), the Bullies are once again gearing up to compete for the Cup. But this time, not as the favourites which came with being the back-to-back President Trophy winners. Without the same weight of expectations, the team is hoping to surprise and potentially even contend with some of the heavily favoured clubs like the Bombers and Storm.
